Ayla Dehghanpoor graduated from the University of Houston in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Communications, and earned her Master of Professional Studies in Publishing at The George Washington University in 2018. After a successful tenure as Editor-in-Chief at PR Luxury Media, she transitioned into a contributing editor role in order to share her unique skill set and passion for marketing and communications with the nonprofit sector. Today she manages marketing and communications for Families Empowered, a statewide parent empowerment organization focused on providing parents with accurate and actionable information regarding their school choices. She is also the Beauty Editor at The Lux Cut, where she flexes her creative muscles writing about and editing beauty, fashion, and lifestyle pieces.
